Tomohisa Aramoto is a Deputy General Manager of Alternative Funds Investment Department. He is mainly responsible for credit products including direct lending and bank loan. He also has an expertise in fund financings including subscription finance and NAV facilities. Prior to that, he was involved in the hedge fund and securitization product investment in London and Tokyo. He has a B.S. from University of Kobe.

Jingjing Bai is a Senior Advisor to bfinance since 2019, based in Hong Kong, and is responsible for multiple private markets fund selection projects in excess of 4 billion USD. In the recent years, Jingjing led several global alternative investment program covering Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Assets mandated by large corporates and family offices. Previously, she was the Head of HSBC Private Capital Advisory in Asia Pacific, and a Managing Director of Eaton Partners, oversaw the firm’s activities in the region, with a focus on Private Markets since 2007. She was one of the pioneer Venture Capital investors in China since the early 2000s, backed by MediBIC, a listed Japanese Biotech company. She started her career with Dell Computer Japan, as the Product Marketing Manager responsible for Dell’s mainstream product program. She holds MA from International University of Japan and BA from Nanjing University. Andrew Bellis Is the global head of Private Debt, overseeing both the Direct Lending and Liquid Loan business units. He is based in New York and has been with Partners Group for six years. He has 23 vears of industry experience. Prior to Partners Group, he served as a Partner at 3i Debt Management Investments, part of 3i Group and was responsible for their CLO and loan find business. Andrew also held various roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Credit Suisse and Dresdner Bank, including most recently serving as Global Head of CLOs at Credit Suisse. Andrew holds a master's degree in physics from Imperial College. University of London, UK.

David Bruce is a senior vice president of D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P. and, as a member of the D. E. Shaw group’s Investor Relations department, serves as Head of Private Markets Strategic Development. Prior to joining the D. E. Shaw group in 2014, Mr. Bruce was a managing director at Investcorp
International Inc., an alternative investment management firm, where he served as global head of institutional sales. From 1997 through 2009, he worked at Barclays Global Investors (acquired by Blackrock, Inc. in 2009). At BGI, Bruce was last responsible for leading business development and strategic account activities for the firm’s institutional businesses in the Americas. He began his career as a credit analyst at Barnett Banks, Inc. (subsequently acquired by Bank of America, N.A.). Mr. Bruce is a cum laude graduate of Sewanee–The University of the South, where he received a BA in economics with departmental honors. He earned his MBA in finance from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

Xiaodong Chang is a senior fund manager at private equity investment department with Tokio Marine Asset Management (TMAM) since 2011. She is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, monitoring, clients reporting of private equity and private debt funds globally.
Prior to joining TMAM, she worked at the Investment Banking Group of Nomura Securities.

Mr. Cho is the Head of Private Debt Investment Division in Samsung Asset Management Company. He oversees projects related to direct lending private debt fund investments; leveraged financing; and real asset-based financing, including aviation and vessel financing.
Prior to joining SAM in 2022, Mr. Cho was the head of Samsung Life Insurance’s corporate finance team, where he focused on alternative investment and structured credit products.
As a VP of Samsung Group’s Global Strategy Office, Mr. Cho also managed global strategic alliances and partnerships as part of Samsung Group’s infrastructure strategy.

Mikyung Chung is head of investment team at Mirae Asset Global Investments (MAGI). At MAGI, She manages the National Housing and Urban Fund (NHUF), a pool of alternative investment funds and SMAs mandated by the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT). She has more than 13 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry. Prior to joining MAGI in 2021, she started her career at Korea Investment & Securities as an equity analyst. She was a fund manager for Korea Investment & Management’s alternative asset funds as well as a senior manager of the investment screening team at KDB (Korea Development Bank) Life Insurance covering both domestic and foreign real estate projects/funds. She received her bachelor's degree at Yonsei University with a major in business administration. She is the Certified Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), the Certified Real Estate Investment Manager, the Certified REITs Management Professional, the Certified Real Estate Development Professional, and the Certified Securities/Fund/Derivatives Investment Advisor.

Ryan Chung is the head and founder of Huatai International’s private credit investment arm. Ryan has over 20 years of experience in secured private debt, quasi-debt and private equity investments. He was responsible for an aggregate of over US$2 billion private capital direct investments throughout the Asia region across 12 countries.

Prior to Huatai, Ryan was a founding partner of the semi-sovereign China-ASEAN Investment Fund specializing in private equity investments in the ASEAN region. He has also worked at UBS Investment Banking Division and Citi’s leverage finance team. Prior to that, Ryan was a Chartered Civil Engineer in the U.K. and Hong Kong. He has two master degrees in Civil Engineering and in Finance from Imperial College London and Cass Business School London respectively.

Kerry Dolan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Brinley and is the Chair of the Investment Committee. Prior to founding the firm in 2021, Kerry was a Managing Director on the Credit Investments team at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (“PSP Investments”). She was one of the founding members of the private credit business at PSP Investments and had various responsibilities during her tenure there, including risk, underwriting, origination and portfolio management.

Prior to joining PSP Investments, Kerry held a number of senior positions in Leveraged Finance and Coverage at Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Bank of America, where she managed all phases of financings, from origination to execution, documentation and closing. She has over 25 years of investing and leveraged finance experience.

Kerry is an Associate Board Member of the Melanoma Research Alliance and a Co-Chair of the Leveraged Finance Fights Melanoma event, an annual fundraising event that raises funds for melanoma research from the leveraged finance and private equity community. Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, where she was a Park Leadership Fellow.

Mr. Endo joined Tokio Marine Asset Management (TMAM) in 2017. His responsibilities include investment analysis, due diligence, investment monitoring, performance analysis, client reporting, and client servicing. Prior to joining TMAM, he worked as a Senior Director at A-FIVE, a venture capital　sponsored by Japanese government focusing on startups in food and agribusiness sectors, before spending seventeen years in Mizuho Bank, where he took various positions from Corporate Advisory to PE Investment, but spent most of his career in LBO Finance both in Tokyo and NY. He received a BA in law from Waseda University and a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Ming Eng is a Managing Partner and a board member of Orion Capital Asia. She is responsible for the funds’ investment activities and serves as a member of the investment committee.

Jiroo Eoh is the Head of Alternative Investment Department at ABL Life Insurance (Korea, joined since 2017). Jiroo is in charge of ABL Life Insurance’s alternative investment business including strategic investment planning, execution and portfolio management. Previously, Jiroo worked with Macquarie Group (Macquarie Capital and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, both Australia and Korea) for more than 10 years. He is experienced in not only advisory businesses but also established and managed various funds such as Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund (MKIF), PPP funds, power and energy related infrastructure funds and real estate/ real asset funds. Jason Friedman is a Partner, Global Head of Business Development and Strategy and a member of the Firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. Jason is responsible for firm-wide business development strategy, fund structuring, and client communications for the Marathon Family of Funds.

From 1996 to 2007, Mr. Friedman worked for CCMP Capital and its predecessors JP Morgan Partners, Chase Capital Partners and Chemical Venture Partners, where he was a Principal. Mr. Friedman has been engaged in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing transactions, performing complex investment analyses and diligence, developing growth and restructuring strategies in conjunction with management teams and monitoring Company performance at the Board of Director level. Prior to joining CCMP in 1996, Mr. Friedman began his career working as an investment banking analyst with Chemical Bank's Acquisition Finance and Global Loan Syndication groups.

Mr. Gross is a co-founder of SLR Capital Partners, LLC and chairman of the board of directors and co-chief executive officer of the SLR BDCs. From February 2004 through February 2006, Mr. Gross was the president and chief executive officer of Apollo Investment Corporation, a publicly traded BDC that he founded, and where he also served as chairman of the board of directors and investment committee from February 2004 to July 2006. From 1990 to February 2006, Mr. Gross was a senior partner at Apollo Management, L.P., a leading private equity firm which he founded in 1990 with five other colleagues. In addition, from 2003 to February 2006, Mr. Gross was the managing partner of Apollo Distressed Investment Fund, an investment fund he founded to invest principally in non-control oriented distressed debt and other investment securities of leveraged companies. Woong Han is responsible for Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance’s domestic and overseas private equity, private debt, and venture capital investments. Before Hyundai Insurance in 2018, he spent eight years as an alternative investment manager at ABL Life (formerly known as Allianz Life Korea), investing in real estate, infrastructure, and private equity assets. Before joining Allianz Life Korea in 2011, he spent two years at Meritz Asset Management. Prior to his finance career, he was a semiconductor engineer at Samsung Electronics. He earned an MBA from the KAIST Business School.

Woong Hwang is Head of Alternative Investment Solution Department at Kyobo Securities. Mr. Hwang is responsible for private fund placement and investment advisory services in Korea. His department is specialized in private credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure investment strategies.

Prior to joining Kyobo securities, Mr. Hwang worked with Hyundai Investments as a feeder fund manager for overseas private funds. Previously, he spent ten years as an investment manager of KB Insurance for investing in and managing different kinds of structured products and private funds in corporate finance and infrastructure. Eun-young Hyun is Head of Real Estate Division at Midas International Asset Management (Midas), where she is responsible for all investment management of the real estate asset class including investment, asset management, capital raising and fund management.

You-Ha Hyun leads the private debt program at Perpetual Investors GmbH, a German professional single family office. In this role, he is mainly responsible for managing the private debt portfolio and focuses on manager selection across the broad spectrum of the private debt universe. You-Ha has more than 12 years of experience in the alternative investment segment having done primary, secondary and co-investments at large institutional organizations such as an insurance company, a public organization and a fund-of-fund. You-Ha began his career in the M&A advisory business at KPMG and is an economist by training.

Mr.Ichioka joined Daido Life Insurance Company in 2004. Since joining the company, he has been consistently engaged in domestic and international credit investment business in both public and private market. In his current position as a Fund Manager, Co head of the overseas private debt investment since 2017, he has led the launch of a new investment platform focused on overseas private debt, including overseas infrastructure finance, leveraged buyout finance and private placement bond. Prior to his current role, he was involved in LBO finance, hybrid corporate finance, US municipal and revenue bonds, overseas investment grade public corporate bonds, securitized products.

Lakshmi Iyer is the CEO of Investment advisory business at Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd. (KIAL). She has been with the Kotak Group for over 22 years.

Kunio Kamoi is Senior Product manager of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB) where he is responsible for selecting and monitoring Private Assets globally, such as Private Equity and Private Debt, as an advisor and a gatekeeper to corporate pension funds and institutional investors in Japan. He also leads and manages distinctive Fund of Funds primarily focusing on Private Equity area, drawing on his experience from his long-time career and leveraging a strong relationship with fund managers and related advisors. Prior to joining MUTB in 2021, he worked at The Bank of Yokohama for over 20 years in Japan and New York where he was engaged in various banking and securities businesses, including principal investments and pension investments in Private Assets. As Pension Fund of Japanese Corporations’ CIO, Yoshi Kiguchi focuses on innovative investment strategies and products within the fund’s investment horizon. He has more than 30 years of experience in investment and risk management.
Before that, Mr. Kiguchi was a managing director of Russell Investments in Japan where he supervised several teams, and delivered a wide range of consulting and solutions to institutional clients, including Toyota, Fujitsu, NEC, Sekisui, Toray, and Mazda. He joined Russell as a consultant in 1998.
Prior to Russell, Mr. Kiguchi was with Sumitomo Life for 10 years. He was placed in charge of corporate strategy, equity investments and researching capital markets, including private equity, and performing quantitative risk management and asset-liability management (ALM). He received a BSc degree in Precision Machinery (Robotics) from the University of Tokyo in 1988.

Rok (Gyeong Rok) Kim is a senior manager for the Real Estate Investment Team at The Korean Teachers’ Credit Union (KTCU). He is based in Seoul, South Korea and is responsible for KTCU’s real estate investments by overseeing its North American and European portfolios. With over 15 years spent in the alternative investment industry, he has an extensive investment experience across private equity, infrastructure and real estate. Prior to KTCU’s real estate investment team, he worked within the organization as a senior risk analysis manager for the private equity, private credit and infrastructure investments. Ms. En Jung Kwon is a lead PM of Global fund of PE/PD fund investments. She has a master degree in Financial economics from Stanford University and PhD from Yonsei University.

Brett participates in the origination, evaluation and monitoring of private credit investments in North America, and leads Northleaf's Chicago office.
Prior to joining Northleaf, Brett was at Fifth Street Asset Management as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader, where he was responsible for screening, structuring, underwriting, documenting and managing middle market sponsor-backed transactions. Previously, Brett was a Vice President at GE Antares Capital within the Restructuring and Workout Group. Brett began his career in GE Capital’s Investment Analyst Program.

Song-ah LEE is the Head of the Alternative Investment Team II and a director at Kyobo AXA Investment Managers(“KAIM”), which is a joint venture between Kyobo Life and AXA Investment Managers.
She is responsible for the origination, execution, and management of domestic and overseas real asset investments.
As one of the setup members of Alternative Investment at KAIM, she has been invested in overseas real estate assets as well as domestic infrastructure assets . She is also in charge of inbound real estate investment on behalf global LPs.
Prior to joining Kyobo AXA Investment Managers, Song-ah had over a decade of the cross-border investment experience focused on the PPP and renewable energy sectors since 2003.

Susan Lee is Partner and Head of Asia Hedge Fund & Private Credit Investment Due Diligence at Albourne Partners. Since joining Albourne in early 2014, Susan has conducted ongoing due diligence on Asia-focused funds across hedge fund and private credit strategies for investors. Prior to joining Albourne, Susan held various roles including Portfolio Management Analyst at Pacific Alternative Asset Management, a fund of hedge funds in Irvine, California, and Fixed Income Sales at Lehman Brothers covering Asian central banks and institutional clients. Prior to joining MGG, Mr. Leger was Head of Strategic Planning and Client Services at Akre Capital Management in Virginia where he helped grow the then 24 year old firm’s private partnership and mutual fund assets from $2 billion in 2013 to approximately $14 billion in 2019. Previously, he worked as Managing Director, Head of Marketing at Geosphere Capital, a $1.4 billion hedge fund based in New York City. Prior to that, he worked in a similar capacity at Steel Partners, a $5 billion global activist manager. Mr. Leger began his career in asset management at BRI Partners, a venture capital firm and joint venture with Mesirow Financial, that seeded hedge funds, helping grow their collective assets to in excess of $5 billion.

Todd Leland is president of Goldman Sachs International. He is a member of the Firmwide Management Committee, European Management Committee, Firmwide Conduct Committee, Firmwide Reputational Risk Committee and Global Inclusion and Diversity Committee.

Todd joined Goldman Sachs in New York in 1992 in IBD's Financial Institutions Group (FIG). He relocated to Chicago in 1996 and became co-head of FIG Americas Banks and Specialty Finance from 2005 to 2007 and co-head of IBD's Midwest Region from 2006 to 2007. Todd relocated to London in 2007, where he served as co-head of FIG EMEA from 2007 to 2012 and global co-head of FIG from 2012 to 2017, and as a member of the IBD Executive and Operating committees. Todd relocated to Hong Kong in 2017 upon being named co-president of APEJ, and was subsequently named head of IBD APEJ later that year, roles he held until 2022. He also served as co-chair of the Asia Pacific Management Committee, Asia Pacific inclusion and Diversity Committee, Asia Pacific Sustainability Committee and as a member of the IBD Executive Committee. Jeff Levin is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and is the Co-Head of Morgan Stanley’s North America Private Credit team, where he serves on the Investment Committee and is the Portfolio Manager and the Head of Direct Lending. Mr. Levin rejoined Morgan Stanley in 2019 and has over 20 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to his current role, Mr. Levin was a Partner and Managing Director of The Carlyle Group where he served as President of The Carlyle Group’s BDCs, and was a member of the investment committee for the Direct Lending platform. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2012, he was a founding member of Morgan Stanley Private Credit, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing credit and private equity investments across various industries. Andrew Lockhart is a founder and one of the four Managing Partners who form the Investment Committee at Metrics Credit Partners.
Andrew has over 30 years’ banking, funds management and financial markets experience specialising in leverage and acquisition finance as well as corporate and institutional lending. Andrew’s considerable experience includes being responsible for the origination and portfolio risk management of large, diversified, and complex loan portfolios including corporate restructurings. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business and Masters of Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology.

Alex Lynn is PEI Group's Hong Kong Bureau Chief. He is responsible for breaking news, commentary and analysis of the Asia-Pacific private markets, with a particular focus on private equity. Alex previously spent two years covering EMEA private equity markets from PEI’s London office before relocating in 2019. Prior to joining PEI, he covered specialist lending for a number of publications in London. He has a master’s degree in Journalism from Kingston University.

Tadasu Matsuo leads JST’s alternative investment from January, 2022.
Before joining JST, he led HarbourVest Partners Japan as a managing director and co-head from April, 2020. As a head of alternative investment, he oversaw Japan Post Insurance’s alternative investment, ranging from private equity and infrastructure funds to real estate and hedge funds since September 2016. Before joining JP Insurance, he headed Daido Life’s alternative investment.
Served as Senior Managing Director, he also engaged in private equity fund investment and headed a business development of Alternative Investment Capital (AIC), a leading private equity FOF manager and gatekeeper in Japan.
Before seconded from Daido Life to AIC, he managed Daido Life's private equity and other alternative investment for five years. Previously he was in charge of group's business development and investor relations at T&D Holdings, a listed holding company of Daido Life.
Prior to joining Daido Life, Mr. Matsuo held such posts as Director and Managing Director and served as an M&A advisor to various insurers' transactions at PwC Financial Advisory Services Japan from 1999 to 2002.
Earlier in his career, he worked for Nippon Life Insurance Company for 13 years, where he managed overseas sovereign credit loans and investments.
Mr. Matsuo received his MBA from Duke University and BA in Economics from The University of Tokyo. He passed the US CPA exams.

Tomo Nakazawa runs the Global Credit, Rates, and FX portfolios as Head of Global Fixed Income at Tokio Marine Holdings. Tokio Marine is a global insurance group headquartered in Tokyo, and he has previously held various investment roles within the group, most recently as Portfolio Manager - Emerging Markets in New York.
Tomo is also a published author in Japan. His most recent work has been selected as the "Best Book of the Month" by iBooks, and has been translated into Mandarin.
Tomo has earned degrees in Bachelors of Laws from University of Tokyo and Masters of Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he co-authored a HBS case.

Maiko is a Managing Director on the Investment Research team and has over 23 years of fund research, proprietary trading, and investment banking experience. She is responsible for sourcing managers, conducting due diligence, evaluating and monitoring Asia-based funds. Maiko works with the global Portfolio Advisory teams on existing and potential investments in Asia. Prior to joining Aksia in 2007, Maiko was a Vice President at the Strategic Investment Group of Deutsche Securities in Tokyo, where she focused on principal investments in distressed and special situations. She also worked as an investment banking Associate at the M&A department of Nomura Securities. Maiko started her career as an Analyst in the Global High Yield group of Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. Maiko graduated from Hitotsubashi University with a BA in Sociology and is a CPA (inactive).

Antonella Napolitano is a Managing Director and Global Head of Investor Relations and Capital Formation at Deerpath Capital. Her primary responsibilities include firm strategy and development, product and structure innovation, investor relations and ongoing global fundraising efforts. She joined Deerpath in 2016 and has 19 years of industry experience. She previously worked as a Director and Private Equity Product Specialist for Credit Suisse's Private Banking Division, and prior was a Vice President within the firm's Asset Management Division, where she led Investor Relations for several of the firm's in-house private funds. She began her career at CSFB (Credit Suisse) as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division focused on mergers & acquisitions. Antonella is a graduate of Georgetown University with a dual major in Finance and International Business. Ken Niimura is the co-founder and CEO of Topaz Capital, the pioneer of alternative investment manager focusing on private credit in Japan. Prior to establishing Topaz Capital in 2012, Ken was Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Japan where he held various senior roles, including head of Debt Capital Markets and co-head of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Ken ran structured credit origination for Industrial Bank of Japan. Ken has an MBA from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a B.A. in Law from Waseda University.

Kazuo Nishimura is Director of Tasku Advisors, advisory/investment firm to serve institutional investors, also advising Hachijuni Bank on its alternative investments. Prior to those, he spent more than 20 years for Nomura Group’s private asset gatekeeper business and 12 years for Fuji Bank. He graduated from University of Tokyo with B.E. in applied physics and holds MBA from the University of Chicago.

David Yoonsuk Oh joined NFFC (National Federation of Fisheries Corporatives) in 2018 and is responsible for alternative investment including Private Debt in NFFC. Prior to NFFC, he worked for MMAA (Military Mutual Aid Association) as Alternative Investment Manager. He has been investing in 40 investment deal (approximately 1.1bn USD) regarding PE, PD, Infra and CLOs since 2013. He published "Handbook of Alternative Investment" in 2015.

YS is head of Global PE & Innovation division at Hanwha Asset Management and is responsible for Private Equity, Private Debt and Venture investment and asset management. Hanwha invests in global PE/Private Debt and Venture funds and co-invests with deal sponsors as well. Current AUM of his division is USD 10 billion in terms of commitment. He developed the division’s practice successfully from 2016 when the AUM was just USD 700 million. Hanwha manages several blind funds including co-investment, direct venture investment, IP (Intellectual property) investment and also provides trust business with Korean institutional investors. Before joining to Hanwha, YS worked for Apax in London, a global buyout firm and worked at NPS (National Pension Service) as a team head of global private equity. Before NPS, he worked at Ernst & Young and KPMG providing M&A advisory service, and also worked at Hyundai securities and Samsung Electronics. He earned a master’s degree from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University.

Wan Sun Park has primary responsibility for institutional investor relationships and fundraising in South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand. He is based in Hong Kong. Before joining TransPacific, Wan Sun served as Leader of the Alternative Investment Team at Fubon Hyundai Life Insurance, where he oversaw the firm’s private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and other alternative investments. Wan Sun also sat on the investment committees of several other leading Korean institutions during his tenure at Fubon Hyundai. He was previously an Associate Director at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he developed relationships and raised capital from Korean institutions. Wan Sun was previously a Manager at Hyundai Marine and Fire Insurance on the Alternative Investment Team responsible for direct investment and fund selection. Wan Sun earned a BA in Business from Korea University.

Won Joon Park currently holds a CEO position at DS Networks AMC, a finance subsidiary of DS Networks which is one of the biggest residential development company in Korea. Prior to the current position, Mr. Park took on various positions in other financial organizations.
He served as a Senior Managing Director of Hana Alternative Asset Management for 3 years, CIO of Construction Workers Mutual Aid Association for 6 years (2010-2016), and filled the role as Executive Director at Doran Capital Partners for 2 years respectively (2008-2010).
Mr. Park also held positions as Portfolio Manager at National Pension Services and Director at GE Capital, respectively.
Mr. Park holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance, and a B.A. in Real Estate from the Konkuk University.

Prior to MidCap Financial, Marc was with Merrill Lynch Capital as a member of the healthcare team, building the business from scratch to more than €3.0 billion invested across various healthcare sectors and strategies.

Prior to co-founding MGG, where he serves as President and is a member of the Investment Committee, Mr. Racz was President of Hutchin Hill, a multi-billion multi-strategy hedge fund. Previously, Mr. Racz co-founded Octavian Advisors, LP, a $1.4 billion multi-strategy fund and was a corporate attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Mr. Racz was also a journalist at The Wall Street Journal. Mr. Racz clerked on the U.S.D.C. Circuit. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the NYU School of Law and on its Investment Committee, and was a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He was named a “2011 Rising Star of Hedge Funds” by Institutional Investor and was named in 2019 a “Tomorrow’s Titan” by the Hedge Fund Journal. Mr. Racz received his JD, Order of the Coif, magna cum laude, from NYU Law School and his BA, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Dartmouth College. Mr. Racz also studied at Oxford University and Leningrad State University.

Yuji Sakurai is a Senior Vice President at Strategic Finance Department of Development Bank of Japan Inc. He is mainly responsible for arrangement on M&A finance individual transactions as head of M&A finance team for several years and currently starting investment to direct lending fund in US and Europe. He graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology with B.S and Master of Science degree.

Andrew Shin joined Willis Towers Watson in 2012 and is Head of Investment Services, Korea, advising Korean institutions. Andrew commenced his investment career in Canada progressing through a number of roles including product development, research analyst and investment management. He returned to Korea in 2007 to take up a Global Portfolio Manager role at the Asset Management Division of Dongbu Insurance. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2012, he was also a Senior Manager at the Structured Finance Team within the Investment Banking Group at Hanwha Investment Securities. Andrew holds a BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University in Canada and also holds various professional designations including the CFA Charter, FRM, CAIA and CMA designations. Andrew is currently a member of Korea CFA Society, Vancouver CFA Society, Korea CAIA Society, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant/Certified Management Accountant (Canada).

Seung Su (Jonathan) Shin is leading the Global PE & Credit team at Hanwha Asset Management. He is responsible for investments in the global private equity and private credit assets, and works with leading institutional investors in Korea. Prior to Hanwha, Jonathan spent a decade at Riverside Asia Partners, as an investment professional. During his time Riverside Asia pursued buyout deals in developed economy of Asia, and Jonathan worked in the Seoul and the Singapore offices during his tenure. He started his career at Samil PwC and Samjong KPMG before joining Riverside Asia. Jonathan graduated Korea University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Sugauchi Koji joined Osaka Shoko Shinkin Bank in 2016 as a head of investment. His responsibilities include alternative investment, equity and fixed income investments. Prior to the Osaka Shoko Shinkin Bank, he joined Dai-ichi Life in 1983. He worked as a credit analyst, an equity analyst and a fund manager at Dai-ichi Life, DIAM Asset Management and a merchant bank in Singapore. And he worked at Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings as a General Manager of Foreign Company Research Department.

Daichi Suzuki is a Sr. Portfolio Manager and Head of Business Strategy Team at Alternative Investment Department of Nomura AM. At Nomura AM, he is responsible for GP relationship managements and product developments for alternative areas such as Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate and various private asset classes. Before joining Nomura AM in 2021, he worked for various positions at Ardian, SMAM and other companies. Throughout his career, he has nearly 20 year experience around alternative investment areas.

Takeuchi has been involved in broad range of private asset investments at Asset Management One (AMO). AMO was formed by merging the 4 investment business units under Mizuho Financial Group and Dai-ichi Life Insurance in 2016. As a fiduciary of its clients, AMO invests in private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate. Between 2007 and 2015, Takeuchi was an active owner/founder of Brightrust PE Japan, a research and investment advisory firm focused on private equity. In 1990s Takeuchi co-headed global derivatives trading at a Berkshire Hathaway group company, General Re Financial Products, and oversaw its Asia Pacific operation. He started his professional carrier at a Japanese Government’s aid agency, Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund, in 1983. He is a graduate of Tokyo University and Sydney University.

Zongwen Tan is Head of the Private Debt business unit in Asia, based in Singapore. He is responsible for originating and executing investments as well as monitoring of the Asia-Pacific Private Debt portfolio. He is also a member of the Direct Debt Asia Investment Committee. He has been with Partners Group since 2011 and has 13 years of industry experience, investing across senior debt, subordinated debt and quasi/equity transactions. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served in the consulting and financial audit functions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Dr. Masaharu Usuki is a former Professor at the Graduate School of Economics of Nagoya City University (“NCU”).

In the last 30 years, he has conducted extensive research at NCU and private institutes on pensions and retirement benefits in public and private sectors, especially on the field of investment management. Included in the topics he has covered are liability driven investment, long-term risk control of DB plans, the influence of accounting rules on pension fund investment, and investor behavior and optimal asset allocation in DC pensions. He has authored several books and published numerous articles in journals and magazines. Dr. Usuki has been serving as a member of several public advisory councils and private research panels as well as of investment committees in some large public pension funds such as Government Pension Investment Fund and Pension Fund Association.

Christine K. Vanden Beukel is head of European Credit Markets and leads Crescent Capital Group’s European investment activities, head of ESG Strategy and Policy Development, and a member of Crescent's Executive Committee. Ms. Vanden Beukel has 31 years of credit and principal investing experience. Ms. Vanden Beukel has worked in the European private debt market since 2000. In July 2022, Christine Vanden Beukel was selected as one of PEI Media’s Women of Influence in Private Markets.

Mr. Wong is a Partner and Head of Ares Asia. He serves on the Ares Executive Management Committee. He additionally serves as a member of the Ares Asia Group's Special Situation, Secured Lending, and Direct Lending (Australia) Investment Committees and is a Director of Ares Asia Hong Kong. Mr. Wong primarily focuses on investment activities, as well as overseeing strategic matters and business operations of Ares Asia. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Mr. Wong founded SSG Capital Management in 2009 and served as its Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, where he focused on special situations and private debt investments across Asia-Pacific. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong from 1997 to 2008, where he ran their Asia Special Situations Group and other credit businesses. Mr. Wong started his career at Coopers & Lybrand, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994, and went on to join JP Morgan Securities Asia in Hong Kong. He is a founding member of the APAC Alternative Credit Council (ACC), which helps in developing the private credit markets in the region. Mr. Wong holds a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School and the University of Wales.

Kanako Yabuki is Senior Product Specialist of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB) where she is responsible for selecting and monitoring mainly on Global Private Debt, as an advisor and a gatekeeper to corporate pension funds and institutional investors in Japan.

Prior to joining MUTB in 2022, served as pension fund consultant, fund analyst, product manager at Daiwa Fund Consulting from 2008, a pension fund consulting firm as subsidiary of Daiwa Securities. She is well experienced on analyzing both the portfolio and individual funds, her main coverage was on fix income related funds (including Japanese and Global long-only, unconstrained fixed income, hedge fund, mezzanine and private debt) and multi-asset/multi-strategy funds. She began the career at Mizuho Bank as sales (Relationship Management) for small and middle size Japanese corporations.

She received Bachelor of Arts degree of law from Keio University in Law and Master of Business Administration from Hitotsubashi University Business School.

Chin Yuen is a Research Manager at PDI. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for leading a team of researchers dedicated to maintaining a database of institutional investors, fund managers and funds in the private markets space. He is also leading a number of data projects which includes rankings (II 100), quarterly fundraising reports and investor reports. Chin graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc degree in Science (Major in Statistics) in 2015.
