Felipe is responsible for the structuring team. Prior to Gemcorp, he spent most of his career at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs in Emerging Markets structuring financing and derivative transactions and at VTB Capital working on financing companies, financial institutions and sovereigns in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia. Before his banking career, he worked as a capital markets, M&A and project finance lawyer in Brazil.

Johnny Brom is founder and Chief Investment Officer of SAIL Investments, where he also leads the Investment Committee. Johnny has a diverse background in business development and investment strategy for companies across South Africa, North America, and Europe. He started his career at JP Morgan Securities and held a role at a Cape Town-based boutique asset manager, accumulating over 17 years of investment experience in developed, emerging, and frontier markets. Johnny holds a Master’s in Finance from SOAS University of London, a PE specialisation from London Business School, and a Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town.

Mr. Seong Sup Cho began his career in fixed income management at the Separate Account Division of Samsung Life Insurance. He later served as Head of the Fixed Income Team and Head of the Industrial Accident Compensation and Insurance Fund Management Team at Samsung Asset Management.

Robin Doumar is the founder and Managing Partner of Park Square Capital, LLP. Robin chairs the firm’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Before founding Park Square in 2004, Robin spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs in New York and London, where he headed the US Workout and Restructuring practise, headed the European leverage finance business, and headed the European Mezzanine business within the Principal Investment Area. Robin received his AB from Brown University, and a JD and MBA from the University of Virginia.

Woong Han is responsible for Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance’s domestic and overseas private equity, private debt, and venture capital investments. Before Hyundai Insurance in 2018, he spent eight years as an alternative investment manager at ABL Life (formerly known as Allianz Life Korea), investing in real estate, infrastructure, and private equity assets. Before joining Allianz Life Korea in 2011, he spent two years at Meritz Asset Management. Prior to his finance career, he was a semiconductor engineer at Samsung Electronics. Nick Heilbut is a Managing Director for the Global Credit business. He serves as Portfolio Manager and Director of Research for the FS Credit Opportunities Fund, the FS Specialty Lending Fund and the FS Tactical Opportunities Fund.

Previously, Mr. Heilbut was a Managing Director at DW Partners where he focused on investments in stressed and distressed debt. He served as the Head of Research for Magnetar’s Event Credit business and the Magnetar Credit Opportunities Fund and was also a member of the Event Driven Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Magnetar, Mr. Heilbut worked at Serengeti Asset Management where he was responsible for the firm’s investments in financial institutions, health care, media and sovereign debt.

He joined Serengeti from Goldman Sachs where he was a Vice President in the Special Situations Multi-Strategy Investing Group. There, he invested in multiple asset classes including public corporate credit and equities, private corporate credit and equities, drug royalties, and distressed financial assets. Mr. Heilbut began his career as an Associate in Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s Mortgage Department.

Inseon Hwang is a professional at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance with over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Global MBA from Seoul National University, and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE).
Early in his career, he managed content distribution and production support at Dreamline and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

After joining Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in 2008, he oversaw stock and derivative fund investments and planning operations.
From 2013, he worked in the planning department, engaging with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) on regulatory improvement initiatives.

Since 2017, he has managed private fund investments for the general account,
committing approximately KRW 2 trillion across 50 funds and achieving a return exceeding the disclosed insurance interest rate by 6 percentage points as of the end of 2023.
Since 2024, he has been managing private credit funds and CLO investments for the special account.

Seunghwan Hwang is Head of Global Real Asset Fund Investment at Hanwha Asset Management, where he manages over $6 billion in global real estate and infrastructure assets. Ms. Kanchan Jain has 30 years of experience across private credit, corporate and structured finance, loan markets and debt capital markets across Europe and Asia and in various roles across origination, structuring, underwriting and risk. As Head of Ascertis Credit Group, Ms. Jain is responsible for the overall business across its investment & non-investment functions. Over the last 11 years, Ms. Jain, along with leadership team at Ascertis Credit (formerly BPEA Credit), has led the creation and build-out of one of the leading multi-strategy private credit management groups in Asia, focused on the fast-growing mid-market and large corporate sector.

Before moving to India in 2008, Ms. Jain worked for 10 years based out of London as Managing Director at HSBC, and before that as Director at Barclays Capital in the Structured Credit business. Prior to that, Ms. Jain worked in the Asian debt capital markets across debt syndication, loan trading & risk, based out of Hong Kong and in project finance based out of India.

Mr. Jeong serves as a Senior Manager at the Teachers’ Pension (TP). Since joining the organization in 2014, he is currently responsible for the management of diverse corporate finance portfolios, including private equity, private debt, and venture capital investments within the broader spectrum of alternative assets.

Kulbhushan leads the Global Private Debt platform of Allianz Global Investors in Asia. He is a Senior Portfolio manager and responsible for sourcing investments in Asia. He co-manages the Allianz Global Diversified Infrastructure & Energy Transition fund and the Allianz Global Real Estate Debt Opportunities fund.

He joined Allianz Global Investors in 2023 from Allianz Investment Management, where he was the Head of Private Debt, Asia for Allianz Investment Management. He also led investment strategy for Allianz’s Balance Sheets in Asia with an AUM of ~EUR 48bn. Kulbhushan has over 15 years of experience in the fields of asset management, investment management, strategy and M&A.

Bruce Kim started job career in 2001 and joined IBK securities Jan 24. Before he join the IBK, he worked at PLUS AMC, and Heungkuk AMC.

Jae Hyung Kwon is the representative of the Korea Office of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. In this role, Jae is working closely with Korean private sector partners to develop projects and investment opportunities in emerging markets.

Prior to joining IFC, Jae worked at Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the World Bank Group’s guarantees arm, for more than 12 years, initially as a sector underwriter in the Infrastructure team based in Washington D.C. Thereafter, Jae moved to Seoul, Singapore and then India to lead business development and deal execution in North and South Asia regions, working closely with governments, state-owned enterprises and private sector investors.

Prior to joining MIGA, Jae worked at Standard Chartered Bank, based in Singapore and Seoul, where he provided project and export finance solutions for infrastructure projects in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Jae also worked at Samsung C&T in the Project Development team.

JR leads the private markets division within the SLAMS Group, the OCIO of Shinhan Life.

Mr. McGonigle joined Audax Private Debt in 2007 and has led Audax Senior Debt since its inception. Mr. McGonigle also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer (principal executive officer) for Audax Credit BDC. Previously, Mr. McGonigle was a Managing Director for GE’s Corporate Lending business. She was previously a Partner at RedBird Capital Partners, a $10 billion private equity firm, predominately in Sports, Media, & Entertainment. Seunghwan Ro is the Head of Alternative Investments at the Government Employees Pension Service (GEPS), where he leads the development and execution of private market investment strategies across private equity, real assets, and absolute return. He oversees multiple investment teams and plays a central role in shaping GEPS’s portfolio allocation and manager selection processes.

Mr. Ro brings two decades of experience in alternative investments and institutional portfolio management. Prior to GEPS, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at DB Insurance, where he helped establish the firm's hedge fund investment platform and led various infrastructure and private equity commitments.

He previously held other senior roles at Blackstone/GSO, including as a Portfolio Manager for GSO’s CLO business. Before joining GSO, he was a member of the private credit investment team at RBC Leveraged Capital (from 2001 until 2005) and held positions at Fitch Ratings, Inc., Nations Credit, and MetLife Capital.

Jeffrey Scott is a managing director in the High Income and Alternatives division at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.

Mr. Scott is a member of the investment committee and is focused on marketing strategy, relationship management, sourcing, and investment selection.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Scott was managing director at Madison Capital Funding where he sourced and structured senior, unitranche, mezzanine and equity co-investments with a focus on high-quality sponsor-backed companies.

Prior to that, he worked as a managing director at Cerberus Capital responsible for running the Chicago office and focused on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring higher-yielding senior, 2nd lien and unitranche loans for more storied middle-market companies. He also worked as an associate at Antares Capital and underwrote senior cash flow loans and equity co-investments for private equity backed middle market companies. He has been in the financial industry since 1997.

Mr. Scott earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Wheaton College, as well as his master of business administration degree in finance and entrepreneurship from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jihyun Cho Sparrow joined the Investments team in 2020 as a Director of Investments. CJ leads the client relations and is responsible to grow the delegated and solutions business across Asia. CJ brings with her a wealth of experience over 20 plus years in the finance industry. In her career, she has worked with a range of clients from public and corporate pensions, sovereign wealth, endowments to wealth. CJ has extensive experience with partnering with clients in a range of capacity to ensure all the necessary resources are delivered seamlessly to our clients.

Prior to WTW, she worked as a Director in the Global Client Group at American Century Investments as the head of Korea since 2012. Mr. Tsang is a member of the private debt team and focuses on illiquid credit investments and strategies.
Prior to StepStone, Mr. Tsang was an associate director in the Ernst & Young debt advisory team focusing on leveraged finance, ABL and growth finance transactions in the UK mid-market. Before that, he worked at UniCredit Bank in Hong Kong, developing the leveraged finance and M&A businesses covering Asia Pacific. Previously, Mr. Tsang was also in the Canaccord corporate finance team, raising equity capital on the London AIM market.
Mr. Tsang holds a degree in physics (MSc, MA) from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified chartered accountant.

Seok Jun Yang has 30 years of professional experience at the Bank of Korea, with a focus on foreign exchange market policy and asset management. He served as the head of the Foreign Exchange Reserve Management Group from 2020 to 2023, when he also represented the governor as an ex-officio member of the steering committee of the Korea Investment Corporation. Prior to this role, he served as Director General of the International Department. From 2011 to 2013, he fulfilled the role of Senior Economist at the Frankfurt Representative Office in Germany. Since retiring from the Bank of Korea in 2023, he has been a visiting fellow at the Korea Capital Markets Institute and has published a book on Korea's foreign currency assets. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University in South Korea and an MS in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan in the US.

양석준은 한국은행에서 30여년간 근무하였으며 주로 외환시장 정책과 자산운용을 중심으로 전문성을 보유하고 있습니다. 2020년부터 2023년까지 외자운용원장을 역임했으며, 한국투자공사 운영위원회에서 한국은행 총재를 대신하여 당연직위원으로 활동했습니다. 그전에는 한국은행 국제국장도 역임하였으며 2011년부터 2013년까지 독일 프랑크푸르트 사무소에서 차장으로 일한 바 있습니다. 2023년 한국은행 퇴직이후 현재 자본시장연구원에서 초빙연구위원으로 재직중이며 한국의 외화자산에 관한 저서를 출간하기도 했습니다. 연세대학교에서 경영학 학사, 미국 미시간대학교에서 경제학 석사 학위를 취득했습니다.

Mr. Yoon is responsible for private debt investments across both corporate and real asset sectors at Korea Investment Corporation. Since joining KIC in 2015, he has been actively involved in fund commitments and co-investments spanning a range of strategies, including buyouts, venture capital, and secondaries. Prior to his role at KIC, Mr. Yoon worked in the strategic planning division of a leading shipbuilding company. He began his career at KPMG Korea in 2007, where he spent four years as a financial auditor and advisor. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Yoon graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University and holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School.

William is the Managing Director of Cambridge Capital Partners, based in Australia, with over 25 years of experience including 19+ years in real estate investment and lending across Asia and Australia. Prior to founding Cambridge Capital Partners, he was Fund Manager – Mortgages at Australian Unity, where he originated over $700 million in loans in addition to responsibilities in fund establishment, fund management and capital partnership initiatives. He was also Executive Director – Head of Australia at COS Capital, a global real estate investment manager. William’s experience includes roles at Lend Lease and MGPA (now BlackRock), he began his career in accounting and tax advisory with firms such as Deloitte and Grant Thornton. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Chin Yuen is a Research Manager at PDI. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for leading a team of researchers dedicated to maintaining a database of institutional investors, fund managers and funds in the private markets space. He is also leading a number of data projects which includes rankings (II 100), quarterly fundraising reports and investor reports. Chin graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc degree in Science (Major in Statistics) in 2015.
