Seunghwan Hwang is Head of Global Real Asset Fund Investment at Hanwha Asset Management, where he manages over $6 billion in global real estate and infrastructure assets. He has over 14 years of experience as a capital markets specialist and portfolio manager, focusing on offshore fund investments and cross-border strategies.

Prior to joining Hanwha, he worked as a Compliance Officer at Mirae Asset Global Investments and as a Fund Accountant at Mirae Asset Fund Services.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Konkuk University. He is a licensed CPA (AICPA) and is currently pursuing an MBA at Sungkyunkwan University and an MS in Finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Mr. Jang joined the firm in April 2022 as a senior advisor at Yulchon, a major law firm in Korea. Previously, he had senior management oversight of POBA investments as a CIO totaling around US$ 17bn and led the strategic expansion in the overseas investment area given the growing importance of asset size and portfolio diversification. He was responsible for POBA's investment portfolio spanning equity, fixed income, and alternatives. Previously, he was the assistant director of the Financial Supervisory Services (FSS) of Korea. With 34 years of experience in the investment industry managing equity and private equity portfolios, he is an all-rounded investment executive who worked across multiple functions in both the private and the public sectors. He was the CEO of AllianceBernstein Asset Management (Korea) and the CIO of Woori Asset Management. He is a member of various investment advisory committees such as The Government Employees Pension Service, The Police Mutual Aid Association, The Mutual Aid for Small Enterprises & Enterprisers, The National Housing Fund, The Scientists & Engineers Mutual Aid, and The Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. He earned an MBA from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. from Dongguk University.

SangHoon Ji is responsible for business development in Asia. Prior to joining Constellar, Mr. Ji worked for Woori Global Markets Asia Hong Kong Limited at Woori bank, one of the largest banks in Korea, where he was a Head of Alternative Investment with a focus on sourcing and/or selling various alternative investment opportunities. Prior to this, Mr. Ji spent more than 11 years at Man Group where he was a Head of Korea since 2016 to build up Man Group’s business development. Mr. Ji joined FRM in Tokyo in 2007 which subsequently was acquired by Man in 2012. He was responsible for supporting a few of the largest Japanese investors as a Client Portfolio Manager after working as a FRM client service specialist, focusing on various Japanese institutional investors. Mr. Ji graduated with a BA in Economics from the Kyoto University in Japan and is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English.
 

池（イケ）相勲（SANGHOON JI）は、アジアにおける事業開発を担当しています。コンステラル入社前は、韓国最大手銀行の一つであるウリ銀行のWoori Global Markets Asia Hong Kong Limitedにて、オルタナティブ投資部門の責任者を務め、様々なオルタナティブ投資機会の発掘及び投資誘致に注力していました。それ以前は、Man Groupに11年以上在籍し、2016年からは韓国代表としてMan Groupの事業開発を推進しました。2007年に東京のFRM（2012年にMan Groupに統合）に入社し、クライアント・ポートフォリオ・マネージャーとして日本の大手投資家のサポートに従事しました。京都大学で経済学士号を取得しており、韓国語、日本語、英語が話せます。

Dr Khoo has over 28 years of experience in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide investment, banking and risk management models, systems and processes incl. ESG/Responsible Investing, Investment and Operational DD. He gained deep practical insights from a career spanning across financial institutions in the USA, Canada, UK and Singapore, including the UK-listed Man Group where he was the Principal Scientist (while still at NTU), designing and running an algorithmic AI-based hedge fund on a supercomputing platform, at American Bourses Corporation which provided robo-based analytical solutions and financial info-utilities to traders and investors in the USA and N Asia, at ATOS Origin, RHB Capital, Singapore Exchange, Standard Chartered Bank, Temasek Holdings, Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), CAI, the global investment arm of Changi Airport Group (CAG) and AEPW (Alliance to End Plastic Waste), primarily as the Head of Risk Management or at Group CRO level.

He holds a PhD in Computational Physics (Material Science) from the National University of Singapore, with post-doctorate R&D in AI-based data mining and applications in Japan and the US. He was also a co-founder of the NTU Centre for Financial Engineering and the MSc in Financial Engineering programme in collaboration with CMU, Pittsburgh in 1999, when he was an academic at NTU from 1993 to 2000.

He also helped establish AIMCo’s Responsible Investing Unit in 2011, where he was the Head of ERM/GRC and Proxy Voting as well. At AIMCo, as the Deputy CRO, he was also a member of the investment committee involved in approving investments via relationship investing/stakeholder engagement, e.g., in Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Glass Lewis.

For the last few years, with his experiences in responsible investing and governance, he has also been leading some training and development initiatives in sustainability-related project and impact financing and education incl. sustainable investing seminars for the institutional investment management and banking industry at SMU, AEPW, private and wholesale banks in the ASEAN region, KL-based ASB (Asia School of Business) and the SWF Academy at the London Business School (Dubai and London) previously and INSEAD (from 2025 in Abu Dhabi and S’pore) campuses.

Ethan Koh holds the position of Global Head of Research Operations at PEI Group, where he assumes responsibility for overseeing data quality and research operations worldwide. In this capacity, he manages relationships with external parties to enhance the efficiency of research operations and regularly presents PEI data at global events.

Over the past decade, Ethan held managerial positions in Singapore and Hong Kong, delivering strategic value to corporate decision-makers and global institutional clients. Prior to joining PEI Group, he was the Asia Research Director at the Global Private Capital Association, the Senior Manager at Real Capital Analytics, and the Senior Investment Writer for Partners Group.

Jae Hyung Kwon is the representative of the Korea Office of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. In this role, Jae is working closely with Korean private sector partners to develop projects and investment opportunities in emerging markets.

Prior to joining IFC, Jae worked at Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the World Bank Group’s guarantees arm, for more than 12 years, initially as a sector underwriter in the Infrastructure team based in Washington D.C. Thereafter, Jae moved to Seoul, Singapore and then India to lead business development and deal execution in North and South Asia regions, working closely with governments, state-owned enterprises and private sector investors.

Prior to joining MIGA, Jae worked at Standard Chartered Bank, based in Singapore and Seoul, where he provided project and export finance solutions for infrastructure projects in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Jae also worked at Samsung C&T in the Project Development team.

Jae earned an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Yonsei University.

In his spare time, Jae likes to go running and hiking.

Janghyuk Lee is a professor of marketing at Korea University, Business School and CEO of AligoAI. He is a member of ‘Mid & Long-term Strategy Committee’ at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He received B.A. in international economics from Seoul National University (1990), M.S. (1995) and Ph.D. (2000) from ESSEC. Before joining Korea University, he had a tenure track position at University of Reading and HEC Paris as well as visiting ones at KAIST, Tsing Hua University SEM, Tsukuba University, ESCP, Telecom Paris Tech and ESSEC. His research covers personalized marketing, digital customer engagement and lottery purchase behavior. He has published in Marketing Science, Marketing Letters, Strategic Organization, Communications for Association of Information System, etc. In industry, he worked for Samsung Corp. (1990), Samsung Electronics European HQ (1999~2001) and co-founded mOculus (2012) specialized in targeting algorithms.

이장혁은 현재 고려대학교 경영대학 교수이고 AligoAI 대표이사를 맡고 있으며 기획재정부 중장기 전략위원회 위원이다. 서울대학교 국제경제학과를 졸업하고 (1990), ESSEC 경영학 석사 (1995) 및 박사를 (2000) 받았으며 University of Reading, HEC school of management, Paris 조교수를 거쳤다. Alex Lynn is an award-winning journalist and Hong Kong Bureau Chief at PEI Group, leading coverage of Asia-Pacific private markets for Private Equity International and editing its daily Side Letter briefing for subscribers. He joined the business in 2017, having previously covered EMEA markets from PEI's London office.

Since founding Mercia Capital Partners in 2013, Ian has helped GP’s to raise capital, principally from UK investors, for both early and later vintage private credit funds investing across the capital structure in a wide spectrum of strategies and geographies.

Mercia maintains an extensive network of institutional and private wealth LP’s and their advisers, helping them extend their origination capabilities to the next wave of institutional quality, yet often under-the-radar, managers.

Prior to founding Mercia, Ian’s wide-ranging IR experience spanned a 30-year career in the European investment management, pensions and insurance industries, raising capital in public and private markets fixed income, equities and alternatives for the respective fund management businesses of Hill Samuel, Barings, Rothschild, Credit Agricole/Amundi and as a senior consultant with private credit placement adviser, Arbour Partners.

Ian is the host of the “Investor Revelations” podcast and a regular speaker and moderator at private markets conferences globally.
