Jingjing Bai is a Senior Advisor to bfinance since 2019, based in Hong Kong, and is responsible for multiple private markets fund selection projects in excess of 4 billion USD. In the recent years, Jingjing led several global alternative investment program covering Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Assets mandated by large corporates and family offices. Previously, she was the Head of HSBC Private Capital Advisory in Asia Pacific, and a Managing Director of Eaton Partners, oversaw the firm’s activities in the region, with a focus on Private Markets since 2007. She was one of the pioneer Venture Capital investors in China since the early 2000s, backed by MediBIC, a listed Japanese Biotech company. Prior to MSPL, he served as Fund Manager and Co‑‑Head of Overseas Private Debt Investment at Daido Life Insurance Company until joining MSPL, where he established a dedicated overseas private debt platform covering Infrastructure Finance, Leveraged Buyout Financing, and Private Placement Bonds. His broader investment experience includes LBO financing, Hybrid Corporate Finance, U.S. Municipal and Revenue Bonds, U.S. and European investment‑‑grade Corporate Bonds, and Securitization products.

SangHoon Ji is responsible for business development in Asia. Prior to joining Constellar, Mr. Ji worked for Woori Global Markets Asia Hong Kong Limited at Woori bank, one of the largest banks in Korea, where he was a Head of Alternative Investment with a focus on sourcing and/or selling various alternative investment opportunities. Prior to this, Mr. Ji spent more than 11 years at Man Group where he was a Head of Korea since 2016 to build up Man Group’s business development. Mr. Ji joined FRM in Tokyo in 2007 which subsequently was acquired by Man in 2012. He was responsible for supporting a few of the largest Japanese investors as a Client Portfolio Manager after working as a FRM client service specialist, focusing on various Japanese institutional investors. Mattias Karnell is Director and Head of Sales at Teneo Partners Japan. He graduated from Stockholm University with an MA in Japanese Studies. Despite growing up outside of Japan, he possesses native-level Japanese language skills.

He is a US Certified Public Accountant license holder, for which he completed his studies in Japan and in Japanese, and he is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

In addition to overseeing the general sales effort at Teneo Partners Japan, Mattias’ core client base includes the major financial institutions (banks, trust banks, insurance companies) and asset management companies with whom he liaises in Japanese.

He leads the institutional coverage team whose primary product focus is on alternative funds, including private asset funds and hedge funds. Because of his excellent understanding of investment strategies and his fluency in both English and Japanese, both his clients and his colleagues often rely on him to provide a deeper, more nuanced insight into the funds they are reviewing.

Alex Lynn is an award-winning journalist and Hong Kong Bureau Chief at PEI Group, leading coverage of Asia-Pacific private markets for Private Equity International and editing its daily Side Letter briefing for subscribers. He joined the business in 2017, having previously covered EMEA markets from PEI's London office.

Maiko is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Asia Investments and has over 26 years of experience in investment research, proprietary trading, and investment banking. She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring Asia-based funds and related investments. Maiko also works with institutional investors focused on hedge funds and private credit, directing strategic portfolio construction and management, while offering tailored investment decision advice.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2007, Maiko was a Vice President at the Strategic Investment Group of Deutsche Securities in Tokyo, where she focused on principal investments in distressed and special situations. She also worked as an investment banking Associate at the M&A department of Nomura Securities. Maiko started her career as an Analyst in the Global High Yield group of Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. During Maiko’s time at Deutsche, Maiko was involved in over 60 distressed & special situations investments, including a major GMS restructuring case. She supported over a dozen M&A transactions at Nomura and priced more than 150 NPL/SPL portfolios at Morgan Stanley during the Asian Financial Crisis and distressed periods in Japan from the late 90s to early 2000s.

Hiroshi Nonomiya is a distinguished financial professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. As the Representative Director at Crosspoint Advisors, Inc., he has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the firm's fund placement business, contributing significantly to its reputation for excellence in financial advisory services.

Before his tenure at Crosspoint Advisors, Hiroshi was a founding member of Ripplewood Japan, a prominent private equity fund dedicated to investments in Japan. During his time there, he served as Managing Director from 1999 to 2002 and later as Representative Director from 2002 to 2011. His leadership was instrumental in sourcing lucrative investment opportunities and
executing successful transactions. Additionally, he was actively involved in fundraising efforts and held overarching managerial responsibilities.

Hiroshi began his career at Ripplewood's New York office in 1996 as an investment executive, where he honed his skills in identifying and evaluating investment prospects. Before his work in private equity, he was amassed over two decades of experience at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he specialized in corporate advisory services, principal investments, and the establishment and management of private equity funds.

Hiroshi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Culture from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from INSEAD.

Shinya joined the firm in 2020 and has been responsible for sourcing and conducting due diligence of private credit funds, acting as a fiduciary for institutional clients. In prior role, he was at Shinkin Central Bank, where he was in charge of credit and alternative investments. Graduated from Waseda University (Japan), BA in Commerce.

Andrew Rodriguez is a Senior Research Associate at PEI Group. Based in Tokyo, he is responsible for private markets research in Japan and the greater APAC region. His experience includes contributing to several data projects such as GP/LP rankings, quarterly fundraising reports and investor reports. Andrew graduated from Temple University Japan with BA degrees in Economics and Japanese Language.

Junichi Yonezawa started his career at Norinchukin Bank in 2003, first working in corporate lending. Later, he moved to the Credit Investment Division, where his responsibilities included managing securitized products, LBO loans, corporate bonds, and mid-market loan fund investments. He then moved to the Alternative Investment Division, where he focused on private equity and real estate equity fund investments. Since 2021, he has been responsible for all alternative investments at Norinchukin Asset Management.
