Trenton Allen is the Founder and CEO of Sustainable Capital Advisors, a climate financial advisory and strategic consulting firm focused on connecting capital to sustainable infrastructure solutions. Allen began his career at Public Financial Management, Inc., (PFM) the nation’s largest financial advisor for state and local government. Starting as a consultant with no formal finance training, Allen gravitated to the quantitative roles building financial models and executing complex financial restructurings for electric utility clients. His passion for numbers led to a role leading the firm’s intensive finance training program and serving as head of the Quantitative Strategies Group. After leaving PFM, Allen began a 10+ year career at Citi, focusing on traditional municipal utilities, public infrastructure, and the emerging landscape of sustainable infrastructure finance opportunities. Working at the leading edge of sustainable infrastructure finance, Allen executed transactions that foreshadowed the success of the domestic market for green bonds and the unique financing role of green banks.

In addition to his direct work in sustainable finance, Allen has served as a thought leader and teacher/ mentor at the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy at the University of Delaware, teaching a graduate-level sustainable infrastructure finance course. He graduated from Harvard University with an AB in Chemistry.

Based in the firm’s New York office, Paulo serves as a senior member of the management team and is primarily responsible for transaction origination, due diligence and execution.

Paulo joined Axium Infrastructure in 2012 and has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of financial advisory and infrastructure project finance.

Prior to joining Axium Infrastructure, Paulo joined the Energy ＆ Infrastructure Banking team at BNP Paribas in New York, where he executed multiple greenfield project finance transactions for natural gas-fired and renewable energy projects. He was also responsible for the build-out of BNP Paribas’ transportation and PPP platform in the United States and Canada.

Paulo began his career in London with Citigroup where he focused on financial advisory, and debt structuring and placement in support of the development of large scale energy and water facilities in Europe and the Middle East.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Paulo holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Tufts University, an MA in Development Economics from the Fletcher School, and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Madrid, Spain), where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Ashli Aslin joined Albourne in 2021 as a Senior Analyst on the Real Assets team. She has 19 years of experience working in institutional investments, both as an allocator and an investment consultant. Ashli is responsible for investment diligence on across real assets, focusing on infrastructure.

Prior to Albourne, Ashli was an Investment Officer with the South Carolina Retirement System working across different portfolio initiatives in credit, private equity, emerging markets, and traditional fixed income. Most recently was responsible for the build-out of the pension’s infrastructure program, where she led the sourcing, portfolio construction, and underwriting process for real assets mandates totaling over $2.0bn, including fund and co-investment opportunities. Ashli also worked as a Senior Analyst at NEPC, LLC, where she helped pension, endowment, and corporate clients with asset allocation and implementation decisions. Ashli holds a BA in economics from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

During his 20-year career at Morgan Stanley and in his three years at Credit Suisse First Boston, Kevin advised on over 100 completed transactions in the power, utilities and clean technology sectors in Europe and across the Americas.

Carolyn Hansard is currently a Managing Director and Portfolio Head for the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure portfolio at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. She has primary responsibility for the 6% target allocation to fund and principal investments in both equity and credit mandates in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors. She is also a member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee for the Trust. Prior to joining TRS, Ms. Hansard spent 17 years at Merrill Lynch in New York, London and Tokyo. While at Merrill Lynch, Carolyn held several senior management positions throughout the Capital Markets division and represented Merrill Lynch on several corporate boards. Ms. Hansard began her professional career with Arthur Anderson as a consultant. Carolyn has an MBA and BS, both from the University of Texas. Monica received a B.B.A. in Finance and an MRE in Land Economics and Real Estate from Mays Business School at Texas A＆M University.

Vidyu Kishor is the Director of Renewables & Grid Solutions in the Power Division at Osaka Gas USA (OGUSA). She joined OGUSA in 2022 and is primarily responsible for overseeing investments across renewable energy assets, battery storage infrastructure, and new climate technologies. Prior to OGUSA, she was the Vice President on the Investments team at Soltage, a solar & storage development company where she led valuations of M&A opportunities and structuring/execution of investments into solar & storage markets across the US. She also worked with the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority to help expand NY state’s incentives in the energy efficiency sector. Andie Logan is a Director at FirstPoint and has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. As Chief Investment Officer and Deputy Comptroller for Asset Management, Steven Meier oversees investments for the New York City retirement systems.

Mr. Meier brings over 40 years of experience, previously serving as Assistant Treasurer and Interim Chief Investment Officer for Connecticut’s Office of the State Treasurer, overseeing the investments of Connecticut’s $40 billion public pension system. Previously, Meier spent 17 years at State Street and State Street Global Advisors, where he rose to Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Global Fixed Income, Currency, and Cash Management, overseeing over $900 billion in assets. In addition, he served on SSGA’s Investment Committee.

Meier is a CFA Charter Holder and certified Financial Risk Manager. He holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and a BBA from Hofstra University.

Joshua Oboler is an Investment Partner for Palistar Capital. Mr. Oboler has 15 years of experience in finance as an equity and credit investor and investment banker.

Mr. Oboler is a specialist in the TMT and communications infrastructure sectors, having worked in depth on a variety of transactions in macro towers, communications easements, fiber, data centers, spectrum, wireless, wireline, cable, satellites, media rights (film, music, publishing) and technology.

Her experience includes direct real estate investment, portfolio management, and asset management. She also worked as a designated commercial appraiser, conducting property valuations, due diligence reports, and feasibility studies.

Maria earned her MBA in Finance from Washington University and her Bachelor of Commerce in Housing and Real Estate Management from the University of Guelph, Canada.

Luke is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Luke has been investing right across the infrastructure space for over 15 years and sits on the boards of Lineage Logistics, Golar Power, Ironclad Energy Partners and Sanchez Midstream, and is a former director of Paradigm Energy Partners, Tidewater Holdings, Carlsbad Desalination Project, Casper Crude to Rail and Northstar Renewable Power. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Luke was a Senior Vice President with Macquarie Capital based in New York.

Prior to Mitsubishi Power, she was part of the Infrastructure Credit team at Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”). Daniel Lau is a Portfolio Manager at the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS). He co-leads the Sustainable Investment and Stewardship Strategies (SISS) investment portfolio. Petya Nikolova is the Deputy CIO and Head of Infrastructure Investments for New York City Comptroller’s Office. In this role, she contributes to shaping the investment strategy and portfolio construction for the $260 billion New York City Retirement Systems (NYCRS). Before joining the Comptroller’s office, Ms. Nikolova was a Director in the Infrastructure Americas team at WestLB, where she originated and structured infrastructure deals across a variety of sectors. Prior to that, Ms. Nikolova held various capital markets roles at Bank of Ireland and MBIA.

Ms. Nikolova holds an MPA from Syracuse University and an MA/BA in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Monica Huffer serves as a Portfolio Director on the Texas Municipal Retirement System’s Private Markets team, where she assists in the construction of uncorrelated, defensive portfolios, comprising ±$8.5 billion, that generate income and appreciation returns to fund the retirement, disability, and death benefits for over 250,000 beneficiaries working across 900+ Texas municipalities. Prior to joining TMRS, Monica served at USAA Real Estate where she provided guidance on real asset acquisition and development opportunities to support the life, property, and health insurance benefits for over 13 million active service members, veterans, and military families. In her role at USAA Real Estate, Monica supported ±$9.3 billion and ±$5.6 billion of real estate and infrastructure investments, respectively, which contributed to a ±$1.9 billion increase in assets under management. Monica received a B.B.A. in Finance and an MRE in Land Economics and Real Estate from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
