Conference Cancelled
It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Forum due to the impact of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This is not a decision we have taken lightly and the overriding concern that have caused us to make this decision at this time has always been the responsibility we feel towards our conference delegates, speakers, and partners.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but as always, the safety and health of our participants, community and staff are our priority and we feel this is the best option.
GOOD NEWS: We will be hosting Virtual ExecConnect: online 1-1 private meetings.

Amid the COVID crisis, early stage and M/WBE emerging managers may have an uphill battle regarding opportunities in today’s current climate. However, the track record of select emerging manager’s innovative investment strategies and an overall ability to outperform can be a differentiator and attraction for LPs looking to garner yield in a dislocated market.
Even through this uncertainty, many institutional investors are either continuing to allocate or plan to allocate capital to this niche sector.
Join 200+ emerging managers, GPs and LPs on November 20 at Emerging Manager Connect for critical insight on strategies, techniques, opportunities, due diligence and risk management for M/WBE and early stage fund managers, as well as EM investor criteria and benchmarks demands.
Discussions will revolve around the most pressing topics and best practices affecting the EM and LP today including:
- The LP view of the EM landscape
- The rise of operational due diligence
- Constructing a diversified LP portfolio
- The vetting and selection processes
- Establishing an EM fund: critical considerations
- Innovative strategies for diverse investments
- Fundraising best practices
- The role of emerging managers in portfolio construction
- Co-investing strategies and trends

DEALMAKERS & SERVICE PROVIDERS
Shake Hands With 150+ Financial Sponsors at Each of Our PartnerConnect Events
Our events are designed with bankers, lenders and service providers squarely in the middle of all of the action at our PartnerConnect events throughout the year. Unlike most competing events, our attendee rosters are typically 90% or more comprised of limited partners and fund managers, which means a strikingly low amount of service providers. Your ticket includes first rate networking with senior decision makers at private market funds (PE, VC, Real Estate and more), as well as limited partners who back them. Group passes and discounts are available. Bankers and lenders also receive a complimentary pass to our well-known Deal Makers’ Dinner, alongside PE firms on the middle night of the conference. For service providers a select few passes are available through dinner sponsorship.
