Don Anderson

Owner, Portfolio Solutions

Don Anderson has been working for over four decades on business performance improvement. For most of this time, his work has focused on "voluntary market transformation programs", benchmarking, and large portfolios of buildings. This has resulted in time logged developing and improving the Energy Star and LEED Programs and support for similar programmatic initiatives in China and India. In addition, Don spent a decade as the first Chief Sustainability Officer in private equity, where he pursued portfolio performance improvement as a path to value creation. He remains sector agnostic with a focus on low- and no-cost core business and O&M solutions that are often missed along the path to "net zero".

Christina Anzel

Christina Anzel joined Generation Investment Management in 2023 and is a member of the Client Team. Previously, Christina was a Director of Investor Relations & ESG at True Green Capital Management; a Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations and Product Head at Ares Management; and a Vice President of Investor Relations and Marketing at Energy Investors Funds.

Donna Bebb

Head of ESG, Thoma Bravo

Donna Riley Bebb is Head of ESG at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, she joined the firm in 2022 to lead Thoma Bravo's enterprise-wide ESG strategy and build upon the firm's long-standing commitment to environmental, social and governance efforts. Before Thoma Bravo, Donna was Head of Global Credit and ESG at Google for nearly five years. In that role, she oversaw $56 billion of corporate cash and designed an investment-grade ESG portfolio strategy to lower risks and enhance returns in alignment with Google's mission and values. Before Google, Donna spent three years as a Research Fellow focused on ESG innovation for the Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance at Stanford University. She spent the beginning of her career at various corporate and investment firms in credit and financial roles. Donna earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and she graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with a BBA degree in Risk Management.

Phillip Benyola Jr.

Director of Private Equity, Bessemer Trust Company, N.A.

Mr. Benyola is Principal and Director of Private Equity at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for managing the firm’s Private Equity funds, including sourcing, selecting, and monitoring private equity investments. He is a member of the firm’s Private Equity Investment Committee, Hedge Funds Investment Committee, and Investment Policy and Strategy Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Philip was a vice president at Citigroup Alternative Investments, responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on private equity funds. Before that, he worked at Raymond James & Associates as an equity research associate.

Philip earned an M.B.A. in finance and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Florida.

Haben Berhe

Senior Responsible Investment Manager, Principles for Responsible Investment

Haben is a Senior Responsible Investment Manager at the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). In his role within the PRI’s Responsible Investment Ecosystems, Haben oversees around 200 signatories across multiple asset classes on their responsible investment journey.

Haben joined the PRI from The Earth Institute at Columbia University, where he specialized in sustainable finance while serving as President of the school's Sustainable Finance Professionals Network. Previously, Haben worked in various capacities in the development finance space in emerging economies. Prior to that, he was a program manager at the Corporate Council on Africa, a U.S. business association that promotes U.S. private sector investment into African markets.

Katie Blum

Principal, Holtara, powered by Apex Group

Katie is the head of North America, with expertise developing and implementing sustainability software & advisory solutions for the financial services industry. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce. Katie has previously held positions at Persefoni, Manifest Climate and Deloitte.

Karin Bouwmeester

ESG Lead Private Equity, PGGM Investments

Karin Bouwmeester works as ESG specialist in the private equity team of the Dutch pension fund investor PGGM Investments. She has over 15 years experience in the financial sector. At development financial institutions FMO and Proparco she worked as investment manager infra/energy. Here, ESG was an integral part of her day-to-day work with focus on SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). At the private banking division of ABN AMRO she had the opportunity to specialize in ESG, broaden the scope of investable SDG’s and explore other asset classes, most importantly listed equities and corporate & sovereign bonds.

Bethany Brantley

Head of ESG, IPI Partners

Bethany Brantley is a sustainability executive and ESG investor with over a decade of experience driving corporate action and investment strategy on climate change and ESG integration in private equity. As Head of ESG for IPI Partners, Bethany oversees all aspects of the firm’s responsible investment, sustainability, and portfolio stewardship activities.
Bethany is also a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs, where her work centers on complex ESG risk and opportunity areas within digital infrastructure private equity.

Candice Brenet has been leading the design and implementation of Ardian's ESG strategy in all investment operations and activities worldwide since 2008. She began her career in 2000 in capital markets at Société Générale's hedge fund division and joined Ardian in 2008 within the investor relations department. She quickly capitalized on her in-depth knowledge of investment strategies to launch Ardian's sustainability program. Ritika Chandra

Ritika Chandra is the Head of ESG for TA Associates, and a member of TA’s Strategic Resource Group. Shaun Chaudhuri

Shaun is a Principal on the Investment team at the Westly Group. He handles the initial screening on new deals coming to the Westly Group and takes lead on the financial due diligence. Adriana Becerra Cid is the Sustainable Investing lead for Private Markets at LOIM, where she focuses on climate solutions and carbon markets supporting the high-conviction sustainable investing strategies LOIM Sustainable Private Credit Fund and LO Global Carbon Opportunity Fund. Adriana is a Sustainable Finance expert with a decade of experience, including Debt Capital Markets at Santander Bank where she structured the first Green bonds in Latin America, management consulting at McKinsey, and climate finance at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) where she co-authored the “State of Green Banks 2020” report. Adriana is a Subject Matter Expert and Course Leader for the Impact Investing course at Columbia EMBA. On the academic side, Adriana earned a M.S in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, a B.A. in Financial Management at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and has passed the CFA level I.

Jessica Clavette

ESG Manager, Equistone Partners Europe

Jessica Clavette is the UK ESG Manager for Equistone, a mid-market private equity firm operating across Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. She joined in 2022 with over 12 years of experience across 5 countries advising on sustainability, social and economic impact issues and trends across the private, public, and social sectors. In her role at Equistone, Jessica guides ESG strategy development at the firm and fund level and utilizes stewardship to implement industry leading ESG standards across the UK portfolio. Recently, Jessica, was a member in the PRI’s Stewardship Resourcing Technical Working Group, seeking to better understand the key resources and costs involved in stewardship. This past year, Jessica also co-led an iCI working group in developing a Scope 3 Decarbonization Playbook alongside Invest Industrial and other private market firms as well as consultants such as Bain and Baringa Partners.

Jeffrey Cohen

Managing Director, Head of ESG and Sustainability, Oak Hill Advisors

Jeff Cohen has management responsibility for the incorporation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters within the firm’s investment processes as well as other sustainability initiatives at Oak Hill Advisors (OHA). Mr. Cohen is a member of OHA’s ESG committee, risk committee and a member of OHA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. He is also the Vice Chair of the ESG Integrated Disclosure Project and member of the PRI’s Private Debt Advisory Committee. Prior to joining OHA, he was the Director of Capital Markets Integration and Head of Private Investments Initiatives at the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Foundation (SASB). In this capacity, Mr. Cohen advised alternative investors on the development and integration of ESG factors into various phases of the investment process. He started his career in the Global Markets division at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Cohen earned an M.B.A. from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a B.B.A from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Jennifer Coulson

Jennifer Coulson has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. She began her career in the mutual fund business working for a national firm that specializes in responsible investing solutions. She oversees Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration for portfolio companies across asset classes; engages with companies to manage ESG risk; develops public policy submissions on ESG matters of broad relevance to the investment industry; and oversees the proxy voting program for Public Markets. Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Environment & Resource Management from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University. Bob Dannhauser

Bob Dannhauser is a Senior Advisor with Shift, a New York based mission-oriented non-profit organization that is a leading center of expertise on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Bob focuses on helping investors to systematically address impacts on people and also contributes to Shift’s work on advancing better indicators of corporate social performance (the “S” in ESG). Before joining Shift, Bob’s past experience included a variety of client-facing roles with institutional asset management firms, representing diverse equity and fixed income disciplines to corporate, public retirement fund, Taft-Hartley, eleemosynary, and high net worth investors. Bob also worked on the CFA Institute staff where he led the global capital markets policy team and also served as global head of Private Wealth Management. Allegra leads ESG at Cinven and is a member of the Portfolio team.
Allegra was previously a Manager in the Climate Change team at CDC Group where she led ESG value creation projects with portfolio companies and implemented the firm’s climate change strategy with a focus on the just transition to a net zero economy. Prior to CDC, Allegra advised businesses and investors on their sustainability strategies at Social Ventures Australia and was a commercial lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills and Norton Rose in Sydney, Australia.

As Global Head of ESG, Heidi works across AEA’s investment groups, firm-level functions and portfolio investments on the development, execution and communication of their ESG strategies to multiple stakeholders. Prior to joining AEA, Heidi was Global Head of ESG at Edelman, where she launched the firm’s ESG strategic advisory practice. Previously, she oversaw the ESG and philanthropic functions for BNY Mellon and held positions of increasing responsibility in ESG at PepsiCo and Assurant.

Heidi was recently featured in Chief Sustainability Officers at Work, a collection of over 20 interviews with ESG leaders of Fortune 500 companies and major investment firms. She serves on the ESG Advisory Board of FiscalNote and the Advisory Board of the Business in Society Institute at Berkeley Law School.

Michael Eisenberg

Michael is a Partner in ERM’s ESG Advisory Services business where he leads the ESG integration practice for private markets investor clients in North America and co-leads the firm’s impact investing practice globally. Prior to joining ERM, he most recently worked at the New York State Common Retirement Fund where he was Head of ESG Integration with a particular focus on private equity, infrastructure, private credit, and special situations asset classes. Jennifer Essigs

Ms. Essigs is the Head of Sustainability at AE Industrial and is primarily focused on developing AE Industrial’s sustainability strategy and assessing and monitoring portfolio investments for environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities. Under her management, AE Industrial has developed and instituted a value creation scorecard for all control investments focused on the material issues of GHG emissions intensity, energy efficiency, data security, employee days lost due to injury and category one customer escapes. Ms. Hurley has ten years of industry experience. Prior to joining Paine Schwartz, Ms. Hurley served on the ESG team at Blackstone, where she was responsible for supporting the firm’s corporate ESG strategy, as well as LP engagement on a variety of ESG topics. Prior to this role, she served on the ESG team at Apollo Global Management, where she was responsible for Apollo’s ESG Reporting Program and supported the development of the firm’s ESG strategy, while also engaging with portfolio companies on ESG-related topics. Ms. Hurley began her ESG career at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison on behalf of Apollo and previously worked in asset management at Partners Group, where she focused on fund marketing. Joe Indvik

Principal, Ares

Mr. Indvik is a Principal in the Environmental, Social and Governance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Indvik was the Director of Climate and Energy at RE Tech Advisors, a Blackstone-owned consulting firm, where he developed sustainability and climate programs for international investment clients and supported the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Climate Challenge. Previously, he was a Co-Founder of SparkFund, an energy-as-a-service company and the Founder of Rock Creek Consulting, an independent ESG consultancy. In addition, he was a Climate Analyst at ICF International. Mr. Indvik holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College in Economics modified with Environmental Studies.

Catherine Isabelle

Senior Director, Responsible Investment, PSP Investments

Catherine Isabelle is Senior Director, Responsible Investment at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investment).

In this role, Catherine leads a team of professionals responsible for the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in the investment activities and monitoring of PSP Investments’ private markets and fund investments. She advises PSP Investments’ investment group, senior management, and the Board of Directors on ESG issues. Catherine also leads initiatives to advance a more data-driven approach to integrating ESG in PSP Investments’ decision making and provides advice on emerging trends and best practices relates to ESG performance. She also participates in corporate engagement activities both directly and through collaborative initiatives with other investors. Vincent is a member of the Steering Committee of the Data Convergence Initiative and a member of the DEI Advisory council of ILPA.

Prior to joining PSP Investments in 2015, Catherine practised law at a top-tier firm based on Montreal with a specialty MBA, corporate governance, and securities law matters. Catherine has extensive experience in investments and providing strategic advice regarding corporate transactions across jurisdictions and industries and disclosure obligations having practised as a corporate lawyer for over 20 years.

Catherine holds a law degree (LLB) from Laval University and is a member of the Quebec Board.

Rodolfo Jaffe

Rodolfo Jaffé is an ecologist with over ten years of biodiversity research and consulting experience, working in academic institutions around the globe, a major mining company, and international consulting firms. He relies on inter-disciplinary approaches to assess how the alteration of natural habitats influences biodiversity and the provision of ecosystem services. Rodolfo has experience implementing the mitigation hierarchy (avoid, minimize, rectify, and compensate) to manage business impacts to biodiversity and ecosystem services, providing litigation support in Natural Resource Damage Assessments, undertaking ecological risk and impact assessments, and working with threatened and endangered species. His work is grounded in data science, heavily relying on the curation and integration of large datasets, data analytics and visualizations, spatial analyses, genetics and genomics, modelling, statistics, and machine learning. He has biodiversity-related fieldwork experience in Europe, Australia and the Americas. Rodolfo has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and serves as Academic Editor for the scientific journals PeerJ and Ecological Applications.

Chandini Jain

Founder & CEO, Auquan

Chandini Jain is the founder and CEO of Auquan and a recognized authority on the use of AI in financial services for due diligence, sustainability research, and risk intelligence. She’s been published in Environmental Finance, TechRepublic, and U.S. News & World Report — and has been featured in programs and podcasts such as CogX Festival, The ESG Show, and the Numerix Trading Tomorrow. Prior to Auquan, Jain spent ten years in the financial services industry as a derivatives trader and interest rate structurer at Optiver and Deutsche Bank. She holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering/computational science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur.

Angela Jhanji

Managing Director, EQT Partners

Angela leads Sustainability Integration for EQT's Private Capital business line. Her role is to drive sustainability value creation through the investment lifecycle by supporting ESG due diligence, elevating sustainability understanding at the management team and portfolio company level and working with the deal teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

In her previous role, Angela was a member of Grant Thornton's ESG Leadership team where she played a key role in designing and standing up the advisory function which focused on ESG integration through implementation and sustainability strategy setting. Prior to Grant Thornton, Angela spent almost a decade at Accenture Strategy, supporting clients in realizing sustainability value through growth and efficiency levers. Her experience spans many industries including private equity, asset management, healthcare, software, technology, professional services, real estate, consumer goods and energy/infrastructure in both the UK and United States, as well as international bodies such as the World Economic Forum, World Bank and United Nations. Angela graduated from Columbia University, in the School of International Public Affairs for a Masters in Public Administration in New York City.

He previously spent four years working in Triton Partners’ ESG team and seven years in PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change team advising banks, private equity firms and publicly listed companies on sustainability strategies and initiatives.

Beth Jones

Senior Managing Director – Risk & Investigations, FTI Consulting

Beth Jones leads FTI Consulting’s Risk & Investigations team in Dallas. She specializes in complex, multi-disciplinary cross-border matters involving fraud and corruption risk management, investigations and compliance program operations. Beth also serves on FTI Consulting’s Global ESG and Sustainability Steering Committee where she advises the firm on developing services and solutions to respond to evolving client needs.

Beth is a forensic accountant who has advised her clients for 20 years on how to respond to allegations of fraud and misconduct. She conducts investigations and remediates internal control gaps that allow misconduct to occur and go undetected. She also advises clients on operationalizing fraud risk management and compliance programs, specifically the design and implementation of risk assessment methodologies, maintaining accurate books and records and processes for compliance monitoring and continuous program involvement.

Beth has expertise in matters arising from alleged corporate accounting fraud and financial reporting irregularities, violations of anti-corruption, export control and sanctions laws, white collar crime, and ESG greenwashing. She often oversees execution of work streams in multiple jurisdictions simultaneously and works closely with FTI Consulting’s other practices to bring optimal solutions to address each client’s particular needs.

Beth has lived global expertise. While much of her work has been conducted domestically, she also has worked for foreign companies dealing with U.S. legal issues, including companies domiciled in China, India, Japan and Singapore. She has worked on matters in more than 35 countries and recently completed an assignment in Hong Kong, where she led FTI Consulting’s Asia Risk & Investigations practice.

Beth was an independent auditor for 10 years at public accounting firms and a partner in a Big 4 accounting firm’s forensic practice for more than three years, where she gained expertise advising on shadow investigations for the firm’s audit clients. In 2021, Beth was exclusively awarded the Lexology “Client Choice Award” for Investigations.

Brett Juliano

Head of Sustainability, Strategic Resource Group, THL Partners

As Head of Sustainability, Brett is responsible for leading THL’s comprehensive sustainability efforts at both the firm level and across the portfolio.

Before joining the THL team, Brett held several roles at MSCI, most recently as Executive Director, where he led several strategic ESG client partnerships and a team dedicated to ESG and climate strategy for many of the leading asset managers in the US.

Prior to MSCI, he spent three years leading an international development organization that provides safe drinking water in Nepal. Brett holds a BA in Economics, International Relations and French from Connecticut College, and completed the Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Brett is also a CFA® charterholder, CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charterholder, and has earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

Alan Kao

Alan Kao is a Principal and Global Director for ESG Services at Ramboll. Alan helps corporate and financial sector clients develop ESG policies, programs, management systems, and strategies/roadmaps; identify ESG risks and opportunities during due diligence activities; and evaluate ways to integrate and report on ESG topics across their portfolios. Alan recently led the development of Ramboll ESG Insights, a digital tool for GPs to use to streamline the process of obtaining ESG data and monitoring ESG performance across their portfolio companies. Michael Kashani

Michael Kashani joined Apollo Global Management as the Head of ESG Credit in October 2021. Michael is responsible for supporting ESG integration across the Credit business as well as further incorporating ESG into Apollo’s lending and other non-majority equity stake investment processes.

Michael currently represents Apollo across several industry initiatives, including as the inaugural Steering Committee Chair of the ESG Integrated Disclosure Project.

Michael formally served as the Global Head of ESG Portfolio Management within the Fixed Income division at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Matt Kaczmarek

Matt Kaczmarek, Managing Director, is Global Head of Sustainable Private Debt Investing and Head of the Los Angeles office at BlackRock. Deborah La Franchi

Prior to joining Piva Capital, Daryl served as the Lead Sustainable and Responsible Investment Policy Adviser at The Investment Association in London, where she led significant policy developments in sustainable investment.

Julia Lamorelle

Julia began her ESG career in Private Equity due diligence, supporting hundreds of transactions across a range of industries. Vincent Lecat is an Impact and ESG expert with 15 years’ experience working in Africa, Europe and South-East Asia on large investment projects with international fundings and strong impact objectives. Vincent joined DPI in January 2020 and is leading the Impact and ESG team, supporting IESG Due Diligence process of prospective investment and monitoring of current portfolio companies for the 3 ADP funds. He also lead the implementation of the Impact investment methodology and the Impact and ESG Management system with a focus on gender balance, job growth and job quality and climate change. Maria is an Associate Partner based in Bain ＆ Company’s Stockholm office. She is a part of Bain ＆ Company’s EMEA Private Equity team, where she focuses on supporting investors with investing behind themes related to the climate transition and with integrating ESG and climate considerations across the investing value chain. Prior to A&M, she was the founding ESG practice lead for Lumen ESG. She also spent six years at Whiting Petroleum as the Director of Communications and Corporate Responsibility and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior to her work at Whiting, she had a 9-year career in broadcast journalism with NBC, CNN and MSNBC.

Debra McCoy is a Partner at Bain with a global role. She collaborates with leaders of investment firms, privately held companies, and public corporations across regions and industries to advance strategic decisions. Previously, she was a Managing Director at BlackRock in an active investing team that uses data science and quantitative research tools to build portfolios. Her general management and capital markets roles have included asset management, asset allocation, consumer and institutional banking, academia, and strategy. Tim Mohin

Tim Mohin is a globally recognized sustainable business executive. He is the former Chief Executive of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the world’s largest sustainability reporting standard.

Prior to BCG, Tim was the EVP and Chief Sustainability Officer with leading carbon accounting software company – Persefoni. He brings more than 20 years’ experience leading sustainability functions at three Fortune 500 companies – Intel, Apple and AMD – Tim has deep experience developing strategies to embed sustainability into business. Tim also led the development of environmental policy in the Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Senate, including the Clean Air Act. He is a sustainability advisor to the Financial Conduct Authority of the United Kingdom, the Board of BASF, Workiva and others. Previously, Tim was a founder and Chairman of the Board for the Responsible Business Alliance.

Zack Montebell is a Vice President at NY Green Bank and heads the Impact and Portfolio Analysis team. Prior to joining NY Green Bank, Mr. Montebell worked for Viridity Energy Solutions (Ormat Technologies) for three years. Dr. Mohammad Rasouli is a thought leader in AI and technology for investment, particularly for sustainability. He is an ex-McKinsey consultant from the Bay Area and the New York offices managing AI activation projects for private equity clients. He has worked with top-20 private equities as well as a number of middle and small-size PEs to use AI technology for automating their fund processes as well as improving the sustainability of the portcos. He is the author of "AI in Investment: A Platform Disruption".

Before joining McKinsey, Dr. Rasouli has been an AI and sustainability researcher at Stanford publishing papers in top AI conferences and sustainability journals with 450+ citations. Nathalie Viens is Head of Asset Management for CBRE investment Management’s Private Infrastructure business. Walter Viguilouk

Previously, I was a Principal on the Responsible Investing Team, part the CIO's Total Fund Management Group, at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, a C$221 Billion AUM global asset owner. My core focus was on developing the organization’s ESG integration, corporate engagement, and responsible investing strategies.

Previous to that, I worked as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky Fraser Global Investment Management, a C$37B AUM privately owned investment management firm, where I focused on fundamental equity research, portfolio management, and helped develop the U.S. and international institutional client strategy. One of my core accomplishments was helping establish the firms sustainable investing strategy.

I maintain an active role in the community having served on multiple not-for-profit boards and industry committees over the years.

Aditya Vikram

Tensie has been recognized by Ethisphere as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics and was a Citi Fellow in Leadership and Ethics at NYU Stern. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and currently serves on the advisory boards of ALO Advisors, Buzz on Earth, Edelman, Giant Ventures, Inherent Group and Nespresso. Tensie holds a B.A. from New York University, an M.A. from American University, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner President Management (OPM) Program. She was awarded the Stern Faculty Excellence Award in 2020.

Luke Wilcox

Partner and Head of ESG Data and Analytics, ACA Group

Luke Wilcox is Partner and head of ACA’s Ethos ESG data and analytics business. Prior to ACA acquiring Ethos in 2022, Luke was the founder and CEO of Ethos.
Before founding Ethos, Luke served as a consultant and engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, where he led strategy- and data-focused client engagements for fortune 500 companies across industries and functional areas.
In addition, Luke has been the Director of Development and Communications for the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project in Minneapolis, a nonprofit organization, where he managed fundraising, impact measurement, and communications.
Luke earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and Psychology from Valparaiso University and his master’s degree in International Relations and Religion from Boston University. He has also earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a Certificate of Advanced Arabic from Middlebury College.

Dan Winters

Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives, GRESB

Dan is responsible for increasing GRESB’s international scope and impact by engaging institutional investors; expanding GRESB participation among private equity firms, multi-national lenders and REITs; establishing industry partnerships; and driving capital market demand for ESG data.

As a representative of GRESB based in the Americas region, Dan covers multiple roles including accelerating market adoption for ESG data; acquiring new GRESB investor members; promoting increased GRESB participation; fulfilling North American speaking engagements; and developing new capital market / product opportunities.

He previously served the U.S. Green Building Council as Senior Fellow for Business Strategy and Finance by providing leadership on a range of topics including green bond underwriting guidelines, asset valuation, lender underwriting, business metrics, and capital market dynamics driving LEED adoption. Additional professional experience includes tenures at Russell Real Estate and CBRE along with participation in several start-up technology companies.
He earned his Masters in Real Estate Finance and Development from Harvard, his MBA from Southern Methodist University, and is an alumni of the University of Wisconsin real estate program. Mr. Winters is a former lecturer at Colvin School of Real Estate at University of Maryland, and current Counselor of Real Estate.

Tricia Winton joined Bain Capital in 2020. She is a Partner and Global Head of ESG for the firm.
Ms. Winton has over 25 years experience building effective and successful businesses, focusing on value creation, organization performance and responsible operations. Prior to joining Bain Capital, she worked at ArcLight Capital Partners for twelve years where she led ESG, Strategy and Human Capital. Previously, she advised public sector, private sector, and non-profits at McKinsey & Company and led client relationship management at Cambridge Associates. Ms. Winton earned a BA from Dartmouth College and a MBA from the Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Amanda Wirth

Senior Alternative Investments Specialist, Mercer

Amanda Wirth is a Senior Alternative Investments Specialist at Mercer based in Washington D.C. She joined Mercer in 2021 and has been in the financial services industry since 2015.

Ms. Wirth supports the fund of funds solution platform across private markets asset classes and investment directors to provide client deliverables and new business opportunities. Additionally, she is part of the Leap Continuum Team, Mercer’s private markets DEI solution.

Previously, Ms. Wirth worked at Morgan Stanley where she was a Consulting Group Analyst supporting a team of four managing directors. Prior to that, Ms. Wirth worked at a broker/dealer where she obtained her financial trading licensing.

Amanda Wirth holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Chase Wisnowski

Head of Multi-Strategy, SVP, Malk Partners

Chase began his ESG career in private equity due diligence, before transitioning to build Malk’s Venture and Growth Equity practice, leading hundreds of diligence reviews in the growth and venture space and supporting these firms in building industry-leading ESG programs. Chase now leads Malk’s Multi-Strategy practice, helping large GPs investing across asset classes build industry-leading ESG and impact investing programs. Chase also oversees Malk’s work with clients investing in asset classes including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Secondaries, and Hedge Funds, supporting these clients in developing effective due diligence strategies, align to relevant frameworks, and communicate their ESG and impact progress to LPs. Chase holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business Regional Studies (Latin America) and a Minor in Spanish from Georgetown University.

David Wynn

Director, Product Marketing – Sustainability, Cority

As a sustainability subject-matter expert with over 15 years of industry experience, David is Director of Product Marketing and Enablement for Cority’s Sustainability Cloud. David’s expertise lies in embedding market trends and sustainability insights into product strategies and articulating sustainability insights to different stakeholder groups. David has worked with 100s of organizations to understand their ESG data insights and enable them to accelerate their efforts to becoming more sustainable. David is an active public speaker and content creator on a wide breadth of ESG and sustainability topics. David led Greenstone’s expansion into the North America market and, in his 11 years at Greenstone, held leadership roles across various teams (client services, product management, sales enablement, advisory board), managing teams to achieve business goals and targets.

Serge Younes

Serge is the Head of Sustainability at Investindustrial, responsible for Sustainability, Responsible Investing and sustainable growth. He leads a team of highly experienced sustainability experts to deliver tangible value and impact in the investment process and supporting portfolio companies.

Serge is very active in shaping ESG in the industry, he is a member of the Private Equity Advisory Committee at the UN PRI, a member of the SBTi Financial Sector and Private Equity Expert Advisory Groups. Within Initiative Climat International (ICI), he chairs the Net Zero Carbon and Science-based Targets workgroup and is a member of the InvestEurope Responsible Investment Roundtable, currently supporting the production of the Climate Guidance.

Serge was previously a Director at Accenture Strategy and a Director of Sustainability Services at WSP Environment & Energy.

Serge is a Mechanical Engineer and has a PhD in Renewable Energy. He is a visiting lecturer on corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, responsible investing, impact investing, circular economy and renewable energy. He is a published author on subjects ranging from clean technologies/energy, low carbon infrastructures.

Abdulla Zaid

Abdulla Zaid’s research focuses on ESG and climate investment solutions in private capital funds. He previously worked as an economist in the forestry-products markets at Fastmarkets. Abdulla also provided economic-policy assessments to a number of think tanks and consultancies in Washington and Europe. He received a master’s degree in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from St. Lawrence University.
