Johnnie Barnett

Johnnie Barnett is a Partner at New Amsterdam based in London, England. Johnnie leads the firm’s distribution efforts across Europe and is involved across all aspects of fund raising for their GPs. He has been raising capital from institutional LPs across the globe for more than 15 years across alternative and traditional asset classes. Across his career, he has been actively involved in 21 capital raising projects, responsible for over £2.2bn in commitments.

Prior to joining New Amsterdam, Johnnie worked for Allianz Global Investors, Northern Trust Asset Management and spent 3 years in India working for ICICI Securities in corporate finance. He started his career at Schroders Investment Management in 2005.

Veronica is a Senior Vice President and Private Credit Strategist on the Investment Research team with over 19 years of industry experience working with private capital managers. She is responsible for sourcing, researching, and evaluating managers and investment opportunities with a focus on private credit strategies. Veronica also supports the Portfolio Advisory teams on existing and potential private credit investments in Europe.
Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Veronica provided specialist structuring, debt placement and restructuring advice to private equity funds, portfolio companies and corporate clients across Europe. Veronica joined Aksia from Talbot Leyborne Partners LLP, where she was a Managing Partner. Prior to that, she was a Managing Director at Capital Markets Initiative LLP and previously worked for several years in European Financial Sponsor Coverage and Leveraged Finance at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse, based in London.
Veronica graduated with distinction from ITBA – Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires with a BS and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School.

Lisa Crass

Senior Vice President, Macquarie

Lisa leads capital raising for Private Credit strategies in Continental Europe for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). Since joining Macquarie in December 2018, she has been involved in growing the Private Credit platform, especially in the Eurozone.

Lisa joined Macquarie from Campbell Lutyens's global fund placement and advisory team where she was responsible for the distribution of closed-ended funds and SMAs for private equity, infrastructure, and private debt strategies in the DACH region and the Netherlands. Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens Lisa was working at Deutsche Bank's Private Debt Syndicate where she structured and syndicated illiquid fixed income products. Her work involved developing bespoke corporate and asset financing solutions for both, senior or subordinated, unsecured, and secured debt instruments.

Lisa holds a diploma in law and economics as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in law from the University of Augsburg.

Alexandra joined the PRI as Director of Continental Europe in the Responsible Investment Ecosystems team. Her focus is on supporting signatories in progressing their practices, engaging in regional policy debate and regulatory change and building strong responsible investment ecosystems. Prior to joining the PRI, Alexandra was Head of EOS Clients and Business Development, where she was responsible for managing Federated Hermes’ stewardship service clients globally. Alexandra brings over 14 years’ experience in institutional client management across Europe and the Americas. Alexandra started her career at Investec Asset Management, now NinetyOne, working in both New York and London focusing on building strategic relationships with large asset owners across the public and private domain. She also founded Investec’s internal women’s network, promoting and encouraging female empowerment within the company.

Frank Dornseifer is Managing Director of Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI), the German advocacy organization for the Alternative Investment industry. He has been active for more than 20 years in various functions in investment management, capital markets and corporate law. He studied law at the universities of Bonn, Dublin (Trinity College) and Lausanne. After admission to the German Bar in 2000 he practiced various years as attorney in an international law firm in the field of corporate and securities law before joining the German Financial Regulator BaFin as deputy head of the policy unit within the investment management department. In this function he also represented BaFin in the Investment Management Committee of IOSCO. Mr. Dornseifer frequently publishes articles both on investment and corporate law and he is co-editor of legal commentaries on the German Investment Act and on the AIFM Directive. Previously, Sven Gralla was a Senior Associate at Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, where he was responsible for setting up a private debt fund of funds with a focus on the lower-mid-market as a member of the investment team.

CVC Credit is the dedicated credit management business of CVC. Sven Gralla

Fund Manager Private Debt, Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG

Sven joined the Private Debt team at Kapital 1852 at the beginning of 2022. As a member of the investment team, he is responsible for the entire investment process including sourcing of new opportunities, investment decisions and portfolio monitoring. Before joining the team, he worked as an associate researcher at the German Alternative Investments Association (BAI) – the central lobbying organisation for alternative investments in Germany – where he conducted various research projects on the investment behaviour of German institutional investors and developed standard due diligence questionnaires in different asset classes. Sven holds a master‘s degree in Economics from the University of Cologne. In addition, he completed the Alternative Investments Programme at the London School of Economics.

Kapital 1852 Beratungs GmbH

Kapital 1852 is the manager for private markets investments of the German bank Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG, which has been positioned in the German "Mittelstand" since 1796. Since its foundation in 2018, Kapital 1852 has successfully established itself on the market and combines tradition with current momentum, individuality, and at the same time with entrepreneurial thinking. The platform's scope of activities ranges across private equity, venture capital, private debt and infrastructure with a wide variety of access channels, especially funds of funds and managed account solutions. All strategies follow the individual needs of the companies’ investor base, which is anchored by german HNWIs.
